This is one of my favorite beers. Pours a very dark coffee color. Nice chocolate and coffee flavors.

Poured a deep black color with a nice thick creamy brown head. The aroma was very good with fragrances of chocolate, roasted coffee & cocoa. The taste was creamy with flavors of dark chocolate and espresso. A very strong flavor that lasted on the palate a long time. The 9% alcohol was hidden very well by the flavors. The head left great lacing througout the glass. I throughly enjoyed this beer!!!!

Pours black with a big mocha head. Nose of chocolate malt, caramel, some coffee. Flavor is very rich and full of malty chocolate, coffee, very faint hops finish.

Poured dark black with big brown head. Aromas of burnt malts and espresso. Taste is similar and you can also taste the hops. Excellent. The alcohol is only slightly present but it is still easy to drink. My favorite Imp Stout so far. Another quality brew from North Coast. I will definately be drinking this one again.

Now here’s a stout. Poured dark brown almost black. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, caramel, and some brown sugar. Maybe next time I can add some more, very complex. Flavor. starts out with a good chocolate coffee, melds into a roasted hops with creamy undertones, and then gives you a slight kick of alcohol. Finishes bitter, with a bit of a chocolate and coffee. I could be happy drinking this one for a long time....

It’s hard to beat Old Rasputin. Full flavor with lots of coffee and malt. It pours out black and has a nice thick feel in your mouth. I like to drink this when my wife gives me a haircut. This should be served in every barber shop.

Poured from bottle into frosted glass. Darker than coffee in appearance with a brown head that slowly grows to half an inch and even more slowly dissipates and laces the glass. Strong coffee and chocolate tastes with a present alcohol flavor. Mildly carbonated and leaves your tongue coated like thick chocolate milk. My favorite of it’s class.
