One of my favorite imperials right behind storm king. Possible a little more bitter. Smooth and sweet with lots of different malts used. Lots of coffee flavors from roasted barley. Worth the 4.50 at the bar.

rah rah Rasputin lover of the Russian queen... this is a most impressive brew - pitch black, flavors of alchohol and chocolate... very little bitterness... thick and milky... only second to Stone’s Imperial Russian Stout... oh those Russians...

Excellent Stout...Some floral tones come through the heavily roasted aromas in this one. Flavor is of a very smooth coffee and mild chocolate. Very complex beer. Velvety mouthfeel

Yum. Yum. Yum. Smells and tastes like a good beer should. Not at all what I would expect Old Rasputin to taste like, he was nasty, this was not. Beautiful espresso coffe color with a thick tan head. Coffee and bitter chocolate notes, earthy almost mushroom or olive under tones. Have i said Yum yet? Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

Dark chocolaty beer whose flavor masks the high alcohol %. Definitely complex with a long, bitter finish.

Pours a thick tan head on a black body. Nice and sweet fruity and malty aroma with tones of coffee, oranges and dry fruit. Delicious flavor, sweet and full and very smooth. Notes of coffee, bitter chocolate, hops, roasted malt and plenty of fruit. An extremely tasty stout and really my kind of beer!

Little carbonation.Dark brown mohagany with a dark tan layer of foam. Nose is awesome.dark fruits ,Coffee and chocolate.I can imagine this as a wild dessert or after dinner apertif’.Port.Flavor is just as I was hoping.The roasted malts and chocolate are at the forefront but theexpresso and dark fruits are so well blended in here that there isn’t a dominate taste.Thick and delicious.
