Nov 21, 2008 Bottle from total wine. Pours a gold color with a fluffy white head. Lots of malt and yeast with a fair dose of hops on the nose. The flavor is not bad, but not amazing. Some yeast and malt hit you with some fruitiness as well.

Nov 20, 2008 I did not like this one at all! Horrible plastic flavor and a real struggle to finish. Yellow poor without any substantial hops or malt flavor. Might have been a bad batch. This tasted like my first homebrew.

Nov 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Golden pour with a thick white head that lasts and lasts and lasts. Aroma of hops, yeast and malt. Peppery flavor with yeast and bananas present. Great finish.

Nov 1, 2008 Golden blonde pour with a thick white slowly dissipating foamy head. Aroma of yeasty malts and flowery notes. Initial bite of hops wilth slight alcohol finish. Smooth and very drinkable.

Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy, orange pour with little head. Aroma is very sweet with some hints of belgian yeast and spice. Similar flavor with a little funk, hops and slightly alcholic finish.

Oct 30, 2008 Pours a little hazy golden color in the glass with a big fat head, not a ton of retention though, but the decent lace makes up for this.
The aroma has a light hop character and a little bit of sweet floral fragrance.
The flavor is pretty good; it is simple enough to ’’throw one back’’ if you will. but there is enough going on here that it’s a bit of a thinker. There are some strong spicy flavors with some clove and a little lemongrass. There is a tad bit of tart sourness, just a little bit in the back of the mouth. A little bit of alcohol and a fruity but not too sweet flavor rounds it off.
I don’t know why but it reminds me a little bit of an Americanized Duvel.

Oct 25, 2008 Very good attempt at the style. Nice aroma. Typical flavor. Nice and light makes it very drinkable. Not too heavy on the alcohol. Worth a try.
