Belgian, this was horrible. I should mention that I like this brewery and Belgian Strong Ales. Maybe I got a bad batch... naivepegasus (194), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Pours a bright cloudy orange with a very thin film of soapy head. Lots of citrus in the odor. Really soft initial taste, that builds into taste of berries, banana, and orange, with a slight hop bitterness to the aftertaste. Pretty good. yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange wiht a diminished light orange/white head. Mild fruity and yeasty aroma. Yeasty sweet berry fruit is the first flavour impression. Flavour continues the same way slowly building up more yeast presence and a more distinct orange fruity flavour. Holds medium dry hops note into a light bitter finish. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA

I remember liking this beer and trying it several times many years ago. I even tried it on tap at North Coast brewery. Great times. Wow. Really delicious again. Cloudy yellow amber color. I really like it when a beer is cloudy. Leans sweet. Some yeasty banana aroma. Very good. Yum! dkachur (2436), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2008 pours orange, with small white head. The aroma is very fruity, sort of citrus with bananas, the flavor although comes through a little strong for me, with comparing it to belgian strong ales it is not as smooth as i would like it to be but it is still a good ale. psycho11 (22), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
