| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2008 bottle. Pour is dull golden color with a rapidly dissipating white head. Aroma of grass, grain, yeast, and oranges. Light crisp palate with crisp carbonation. Very refreshing. Musty flavor of clove, flower, citrus and hops. Surprisingly little malt flavor. Finishes dry and slightly tart . . . maybe even grassy. Overall, quite pleasant. Goes down smooth, and tastes unique from other Belgians I’ve had.) 3.5. dirt55 (155), Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 27, 2008 nice malt aroma with hint of alcohol noted and mild fruit, pours a nice smooth golden, very mild white head, caramel/fruit flavor combo with strong malt coming through with only mild alcohol taste, very clean aftertaste, would drink this many more times. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2008 Pour is medium golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of citrus, orange peel, and Belgian spices. Palate is very smooth. Flavors include malt, light orange peel, some coriander, but mostly floral and citrus from the yeast. Alcohol is well hidden. Very sweet brew. Could use something to even that out just a little. Good. Would buy again. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 25, 2008 Pours a pale golden with a two finger frothy white head. Explosively carbonated. The nose is sweet, grassy, light Belgian funk, fruity. The flavor is sharp and spicy, some citrus, Belgian shows through, warm alcohol. Very carbonated crisp mouthfeel. Finishes grassy and sweet. The flavor is much better than the nose. FishManLA (301), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2008 Golden color and a fluffy white head with moderate persistence. Nose of fruit, floral, and sawdust (the sawdust part brought the aroma score down by at least a point). Fruity taste with some woody notes and some distinct tartness. Short lasting tart finish. This beer has all the taste and aroma components of golden Belgian ales but it doesn’t have as good a balance as the better Belgians. Pretty good effort, but no where near as good as many golden ales that are actually from Belgium. jstraw (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA
