Lemon honey funk sweetness, bitterness is decent. Highly carbonated, long finish, last part hits a on the bitter side. Not a delicate beer in composition, but nice. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2008 Tap. Pours with a hazy, dark yellow color. Not much of a head on this one. Aromas of fruit, mainly lemon and orange. Flavors exhibit some yeatsiness, but mainly tart citrus. A bit of alcoholic harshness in the finish. FlyingSwine (170), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Flavor has a bit of spice, dried fruit, raisin, and is well balanced. Palate is med body and slightly fizzy. This one surprised me...its a very good Belgian ale, will certainly try it again. rickgordon (3302), Göteborg, Sweden

Amber colour, with diminishing head, due to a few years of storing. Big aroma from overripe prune and tidbits along with spicy, phenolic yeast, eventually from Unibroue. Very rounded mouthfeel, with Belgian yeast spiciness and tidbits. Bit one-dimensional but what the heck. blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2008 A good easy drinking Belgian blonde strong ale that I would compare to Duvel. It’s about as easy drinking as Belgians get and the only downfall is a slight metallic aftertaste. ditmier (1094), Boise, Idaho, USA

Equal malt and hops taste.. no overbearing taste. It is almost like they made a very strong beer and reduced everything until it was even. Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2008 Smells a little like a flower and has a cloudy orange color to it as well. Nice formed body with a little bittering added to the mix. Goes real good with a meal as I had this with mine. Will more than likely get this again
