The beer is cloudy and no existent head and no lace. The aroma is more fruity then hoppy. The beer is pretty smooth for its 7.6% ABV. A good balance of sweet Belgian Pale malt and a citrus kick mostly of lemons. There are definite spice tones which is mostly pepper but traces of banana and cloves are noticeable. This is a good beer and wouldn’t mind having another, but there other Belgian Strongs that are better. Overall better then most but more malt flavor and slightly tone down the sweetness and then the jokes on us. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Taste is a strong malt, yeast and some mixed fruit. Medium bodied, nice tongue tingle. Very good. Thank You mds. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Pours warm honey-gold with little head. Smells very fruity with mostly apples, pears, and even a little peach. The flavors are also fruity with some tropical fruits coming through. Thin, quaffable palate, nice overall, good beer for April Fools. Hollywoodt (174), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Poured a hazy dark yellow with a decent white head. Aroma was citrus, esters, banana, and spices. The flavor backed up the aroma perfectly. Great carbonation. The alcohol was not in the forefront. This is a great brew. taste is immediately bitter throughout the mouth, light on wheat and spice, heavy on the hoppiness. but not real flavorful. some apple and citrus. taste disappeears pretty quickly. not my thing, but if you like your beer on the hoppy side, this is a good choice. Slightly cloudy golden colour. Flavour of oranges, spice and herbs. Tangy bitter finish. Hard for me to comment on this style as not really a fan of it. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Hazed dark gold, off white fizzy head. Spiced pear aromas warm to notes of honey caramel coated orange peel. Candied spiced citrus and yeasty pear notes balance on a kiss of hops in the end. Medium bodied, soft carbonation spiced fruity finish. A very nice take on the style... beisen (90), California, USA
