Jan 30, 2008 Pours from the 12 oz. bottle a hazy orange-amber color with a thick, foamy 2 finger head that is not quite as large as i’ve come to expect from a Belgian Stong. The head only settles by half, settling into a thick, clingy collar. I see the usual Belgian effervescence, lots of tiny bubbles rising & swirling in the glass. Aroma is of candy sugar & sweet fruits (peaches, apricots, grapes). The fruity characteristic dominates the taste at first, with some spice & floral notes and no hint of the 7.6% alcohol content. Mouthfeel is smooth, medium, and sparkly from all the bubbles, almost champagne-like! Dangerously drinkable due to it’s medium body, luscious flavor, and how well hidden the alcohol is! Overall, i’d say i’ve found a new favorite among Belgians!!! This one can stand tall and proud among anything from overseas!!

Jan 30, 2008 had in a tulip glass, pours a golden yellow with a copper tint.has a good floral, yeasty aroma. The yeast combines well with the malt, good body with a tangy, spicy finish. One of my favorite styles of beer and a good example of a golden from the states.

Jan 29, 2008 One of the best beers I’ve tasted that is made in the US. Beautiful yeasty-citrusy aroma into a clean and smooth initial taste. Extremelly full-bodied for a golden ale with hints of fruit. Finishes perfectly, creamy and smooth - a full-circle of flavors that lingers till the next sip!

Jan 29, 2008 Pours a murky copper color, decent head that fizzles quickly. Not much aroma. There’s a nice yeasty flavor to it but it feels unbalanced to me. A little more malty sweetness to go with the yeast would be good.

Jan 27, 2008 Pours a nice pale orangy gold with a very aromatic, white head. Smelled sweet and yeasty...Very yeasty taste with a tad of hops on the finish. Good medium bodied mouthfeel..Overall I think it is nice example of a Belgian Strong.

Loved this one. Pale golden color and nice head. Fruity aroma with a bit of yeasty notes as well. Almost Hefe-like, but not as strong and fragrant. Sweet malty flavor - light bitterness. Solid brew for the style.

Jan 20, 2008 Very fruity aroma...some citrus, pine in the hops as well as some floral notes. Smooth from start to finish....a good balance of the sweet belgian malts and flavoable hops. A nice all-around ale. Goes great with a pub meal, like Fish and Chips.
