Aroma of honeyed cake and biscuit malts with some pear, banana, citrus, and floral notes. Cookie-cake malt flavors with like a caramelized sugar, apricot/orange marmalade swirl. Develops more of a candied citrus peel note and yeasty creaminess as it warms. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Enjoyable Belgian interpretation, but not really complex or exciting. eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2007 A little bit too much bite for your typical belgian. Aspires to chhouffedome and falls short. Enjoyable though. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

pours a semi-cloudy light orange with a very small off-white head, and some lacing.
smell is of yeast, roasted nuts, malt, a touch of citrus, some fruit, grass, and floral.
taste is fizzy and oily, lots of yeast, some sour malt, some fruit, a little musty, and a little bit of roasted nuts, leaves the mouth on the dry side. patty26 (95), New York, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Pours a very bright orange with a thick white head. The aroma is very strong, and amplified by yeast and esters. Taste is very creamy and flavorful. Mainful fruit and yeast. Perfectly carbonated with a fruity flavor that lingers. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 20, 2007 I loved this beer. It had a very strong yeast taste to it, and the flavor and aroma were well balanced. Feinschmecker (188), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Bottle. Strong yeasty and fruity aroma with a hazy yellow and brown color. The yeast is what makes this beer. I can see how some may not like it. I, on the other hand, think it is great. It seems to go almost in a Witbier direction with the unfiltered appearance, but despite this the fruit and floral flavor is a nice change. ilovedarkbeer (1366), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Highly rated but hardly impressive. Pours a golden yellow color with a moderate sized white head. Smells of yeast, sugar, malt, and flowers. Taste is offensive and unbalanced. Like eating a fist full of flowers with the sour yeast from a tripel. scrizzz (1305), kirkland, Washington, USA
