Commercial Description:
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Feels a bit like a heavier, more grown up Duvel. I guess which one you pick will depend on how grown up you’re feeling at the time.

12 ounce bottle in Gulden Draak tulip. Faint, if any, aroma. Hazy orange. No head. Sweet, sugary, fruity, apricot-banana flavor with faint spicy bitterness in finish. Medium body and low carbonation. This beer doesn’t travel well. It tastes old and mishandled, just like it tasted when I had it on tap at Papago in AZ. It’s amazing how different this is from the excellent lively brew that I once had at the North Coast taphouse restaurant. Oh well.

Pours a cloudy orange with a medium sized white head with thick lacing. Head sticks around for a long time. Smells sort of yeasty with some banana, similar to a hefe. A lot of banana and yeast in the flavor. sort of like a strong hefe or dunkelweizen. Alcohol is hidden pretty well but not totally, and i felt the warmth as I did away with the 12oz I bought. If you like them sweet and wheaty you should look into it, otherwise you’ll probably be alright without it.

12 oz. bottle - clear and golden w/ fading white head; pleasant yeast aromas and initial flavors, but a fairly weak belgian strong IMO

Yellow orange color, spicy aroma and flavor. Lively carbonation. Similar to a Duvel - very good.

Not a bad brew at all. Pours out a nice hazy yellow color with a large beige head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty. Flavor was very much the same with a bit of spice to it. I like this brew. Nice job

Pours a slight hazy golden yellow. Spicy, bready aroma with fruits. Medium body mouth feel, a bit fizzy. It tastes like your average good Golden Belgian Ale, but nothing special really stands out.
