Commercial Description:
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

On tap @ Mad Mex: Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma, Belgian yeasty hints, some floral and spicy notes as well. Flavor, pale bready malts, some yeast, floral notes, a light spice as well. Not bad.

This is a very strange beer. I like it, I think. First off, my impression was that it was going to be all Belgiumy. And to start with, it poured with a golden yellow color and creamy, foamy, white head. Aroma was Belgian in tterms of the yeasty, sweet, hop aroma. The taste profile is shockingly strange. It tastes like a milk chocolate candy bar initially, then a sharp, slightly dry finish of Belgian beer with a little fruit in the finish and a lingering bitterness. A good beer, and different. Always fun.

Dark amber color with a thin head. This was an interesting beer to be served at the OBF in the summer. Strong ales with the need to be warm on a cold night. Served the other way cold on a warm day. Odd… The deep malts and spices where very good and came out more when the glass warmed up. Some slight fruit flavors and sweet finish.

Aroma is spicey yeast, clove, and fruit such as apricots and oranges. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. Flavor is sweet and fruity, yeasty, and clovey. There is also some metallic notes in the flavor and a mild warming effect. Good, but not great.

Great tripel aroma, sweet honey and citrus oil, candi sugar, Belgian yeast and bit of funk. Golden amber cloudy, with thin off-white head. Medium bodied with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with grainy sweetness, candi sugar, funky yeasty chalk and light honey. Mild fruity hops and rind bitter in the finish. Sweet tripel after. Nice alcohol warming.

Very creamy head, amber colored, decent lacing, very inviting. Citrus, Lemon, A little spicy and barely a decent amount of wheat flavor for how complex this beer is. Citrus, notes of wheat and apricots. Lots of spice....makes me want a sip, and then another. Very drinkable. Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. The flavors pop in your mouth even after the liquid has gone way past the hatch door. Very drinkable. There are obviously better Belgian and Belgian Style Golden Ales out there. This is a decent alternative to the more expensive ones without giving up much quality. A decent pick-up.
