Wow, great aroma, some banana-cloves, wheat and bubblegum. Taste is somewhat reminiscent of a hefe yeast profile with some more spice and a little sour. Finish is a little sour, gets you in the back of the throat and somewhat dry. Very interesting. mikeben (344), Naperville, Illinois, USA

A VERY strong beer, this blonde is about the best I have tried. Very nice golden flavors, it will hit you but good. I like the blonde’s styles sweet and sour flavor contradictions. I am surprised it took me this long to hear of it. Derek881 (502), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2007 A very good belgian style ale for a reasonable price. The color was an orange-gold to amber with a small foamy white head with short retention; it was fairly cloudy. The aroma was soft but pleaseant with caramel malt, some floral and pine notes, and maybe a bit of citrus, wheat, and light yeast. Smooth and wet texture with low carbonation, and a nice, slightly dry alcohol finish. Taste is mostly sour with a touch of sweetness and somewhat bitter at the finish. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a dark golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma includes spice and some light yeast. Taste is sweet with some nice malty notes and a little bit of fruit. A good beer, but could be a little more balanced and less sweet. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2007 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A murky, yellow color with a white head and ribbon-like sediment floating throughout. Aroma of spice and citrus. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet and malty with a light bitter finish. Good American Belgian. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA

The carbonation was decent but the head vanished too soon. Good aroma of fruits and spices. This beer drinks very easily and tastes great, extremely smooth and highly refreshing. I will definately buy this one again. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA

I tasted something similar to metallic bananas but everyone here is saying peach/apricot so maybe that is more correct. 8.4.8.4.15 BREWMUSKCLES (1087), New Jersey, USA

THIS NEVERTHELESS SCORES WELL.MAINLY DUE TO THE COMPLEX AND SWEET CHARACTER THAT FITS IN WITH CONVERSATION AND HAS A CLASS BODY THAT DESCRIBES THE ORIGIN OF THE STYLE.LOOKS GOOD IN THE GLASS AS HAS BEEN DESCRIBED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE. THE CLOVE AND CORIANDER THING WAS DONE NICELY AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. MIX FRUITS AS DONE BY THE BETTER OF THIS CATAGORY. A HOP HEADS DIVERSION.
