| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2007 Pours a nice, hazy, coppery orange color with a moderately full, creamy, and white; head is mostly lasting and leaves excellent lacing. Nose is pleasant with floral, pepper, and estery yeast with lighter notes of corriander, light pomme fruit, and a hint of caramel sweetness. Flavor starts nicely with a sweetness, and plenty of banana esters from the high amount of yeast, and lighter floral, pepper, and faint peach and orange peel. Palate is medium to full, creamy and round, and carbonation is almost lively with a quick dryness. Flavor is short-lived as it dries out almost completely to the finish which is very dry and has notes of yeast, lightly sweet bread, and a touch of floral bitterness. Farily nice Golden brewed in the states but lack any ’wow’ factors. Solid nose and bodybut carried too much yeast and the finish kind of fell apart. Decent, but not extraordinary. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Hazy golden pour with a minimal white head. The commercial description is a bit presentious but I have to agree with the floral nose and ’full fruity flavor’, despite the alliteration.
I’ll admit it, I’m impressed. stison42 (318), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Belgian candy meets clementine tangerines, like a Harry and David catalog from Spain. I also get peppermint apple. Huh? Like dating someone with sexual hangups, there is no head. Is there a dash of pepper in this salad of a beer? Waiter, bring some croutons, please. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Poured from 12oz bottle into a Trappist glass. Coppery orange color with minimal white head. No lacing. Hoppy flavor with slight hint of spice and citrus. Not bad for this style...would recommend to friends. onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA
