Commercial Description:
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Cloudy orange with small white head and no lacing. Aroma was strong and oddly malty smelling, not matching the appearance of the beer. Flavor was a little malty, sweet and somewhat citric and pumpkin flavored.

Brownish gold pour with some carbonation and minimal head. Wheat and coriander in the nose and a wheaty body.

12oz bottle. pours about like a belgian, but with less head. still, hazy and notable lacing, this beer punches in with a golden hue. aromas are of yeasts and bright fruits, as well as a pleasant spring flower aroma. it tastes like a sweet ale, with an interesting hop character. the finish is only the slightest bit bitter, just to remind me this is an ale. mild spice is also on the front of the palate. it’s drinkable, but it’s just a good beer.

12 oz bottle: Pours a hazy medium yellow color with smallish and quickly dissapearing pure white head. Aroma has notes of dry kilned malts, fair amount of honey and faint light caramel, touch floral. Flavor is relatively malty, touch of honey and vanilla, bit of floral hops, fruit notes of pear and white grapes, with a balanced, slightly sweet finish. A good brew.

The aroma was spicy with a bit of caramel and a light bit of pepper. The caramel and spice dominated the aroma but a light bit of citrus was notable. The beer was golden and had disgusting particulates that stayed in suspension. The head was white and fleeting, lasting but an instant. The flavor was light and crisp with pepper and caramel and some corn as the beer warmed. The pepper and corn worked well together in the flavor coupled with the caramel and a light presence of candy. The body was medium and the carbonation level was enough to give a creamy mouthfeel. The finish was just dry with lasting light pepper into the aftertaste. A nice Belgian Pale Ale, but the appearance was awful. 12 ounce bottle.

Pours hazy yellow with rather thin white head. Nose is mellow, spicy belgian ale, wiht floral overtones. The flavor begins with sweet honey, cream, and peach, seguing to allspice yeast flavor and a slightly wheaty end. I can’t taste any alcohol. Great.

12oz bottle served in a wine glass.Pours a gorgeous hazy orange with a medium white head. Decent retention, minimal lacing. Resolves to a white ring. Nose of fruits, yeast, malt, spice and funk. Creamy, medium mouthfeel. Flavors of citrus, yeast, earth and that Belgian funk. Clean, crisp finish. Overall a nice brew. Hides the 7.6% very well.
