Commercial Description:
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Clove nose. Yellow color, thick vanishing head. Tastes of clove, sgar, and tin. Weak lemon grass finish. Poorly blended, underfermented. Not what I expected from North Coast.

Bottle. Huge head with golden body color. Aromas of vanilla, citrus, banana, and flowers. Lively taste with a short duration on the palate. Good but not great Belgian beer.

Not a great Belgian style ale in my opinion. When I poured it, my hopes were up. It poured with a nice rocky white head on it. Sadly within seconds the head disappeared. Something not quite right there? Taste? A little too sweet and lacking in depth for me. I have always enjoyed beers from this first class brewery, but this one is not one i would buy again. Not quite as complex as a real Belgian brew either.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a minimal head with poor retention and a yeasty sweet aroma. Taste is typical Belgian blonde with quite a bit of apple cider going on. Moderate carbonation with a thin body. Nothing special here.

Poured hazy golden color with alot of floaties and no head. Floral aroma and wheat malt flavor. Dry finish and also tasted cloves, not bad.

I actually wasn’t a huge fan of pranQster, mainly because of the over-the-top estery flavor. The sweetness is a bit cloying, but it is very smooth with no bite at the end. Very profound caramel flavor.
