On tap at the brewery, I got this as part of a sampler set. This is a dark golden pour with some light hoppiness and spicy flavor. Nothing too exciting here.

Bottle - Pours a slightly cloudy darkish amber in color with a fluffy off-white head that hung around. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma is of floral hops with a hint of caramel or honey in the background. Flavor is medium bitter with citrus/pine hopiness, Some fruitiness too. Finish is mildly bitter with a slightly unpleasant astringency at the end.

Pours a hazy orange with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is soapy and floral hoppy. Flavor is immedietly honey, some good bitter hoppiness, it is just mildly fruity and has a really bizzare tea flavor.

12oz bottle. Pours an off-white head with a clear amber body. Smells of hops and caramel. Tastes like caramel, biscuits, and pine. Bitter finish. I like this one.

Pours an amber color with a decent off white head. Nose of citrus, hops, caramel followed by a taste of bitterness, pine, citrus and hops. A decent pale ale but does not do much for me in the way of standing out.

nice orangey aroma. flavor is fruity and caramel malty, moderate bitterness but it’s consistent throughout. great flavor and palate, very easy to drink while still having a big fruity flavor. not too thick or sticky. on the sweet side but balanced. i liked it!

I was pleasantly surprised that a beer of this distribution and this price could be so good. It is a gorgeous, natural red that comes on refreshing, sweet, and chock full of hoppiness, but not to the abusiveness that many beers find necessary. It is a great beer to buy in a six pack and enjoy with friends in that it adds to the night as apposed to becoming the focus of it.
