| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 5, 2009 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a dark amber body topped by a rocky off-white head which diminished mostly, leaving soapy islets of foam. Floral hops evident in the aroma. Medium bodied, with low carbonation, this ale packs the bitterness of the hops at the end of the flavor profile. The roast of the malts compliment the hops, settling down to a burnt caramel taste on the tongue. j12601 (1327), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark honey color with a generous foamed milk color head which reduces down fairly steadily. Aromas of malt, and a bit of caramel sweetness. Medium body, with more of the malty sweetness coming through. Lightly bitter finish. Good, but nothing really stands out either good or bad on this one, making it far from memorable for me. thewolf (5808), Kolding, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 1, 2009 Bottle, bought at Systembolaget, Malmö. Hazy amber with a fine, small, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma is sweet, lots of fruity hops, citric, grapefruit with a woody edge to it. Fair toffee-like hops in the back. Highish carbonation with small bubbles, fine creaminess. Flavour is relatively sweet, good maltiness. There is fine, fruity hops. Good bite in it, very fresh and refreshing. Though it is nothing revolutionary. Rciesla (3777), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Pours burnt orange with a 2 finger off white-tan head that has good retention and leaves some lacing. Aroma is grainy and woody malts with a citrus, bitter hop note. Flavor is fruity, woody, and straw malts, with a nice citrus bite at first with candied fruit, citrus and berry. Pretty interesting take on the style. georgekillian (221), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours slightly hazy reddish amber in color with a small off white head that leaves a touch of lace on the glass. The aroma is a mix of malts and citrus and floral hops. The flavor was a refreshing mix of citrus hops, caramel, vanilla, grass, and bread. I have had this on a few occasions. It is very drinkable and stands as another solid offering from North Coast.
Rating #1000 for this beer.
