Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

A very enjoyable beer. Lots of malty goodness with a relaxed, slighty bitter taste as it slides down the throat. Quite a thick muthful for this style too

Draft at Flying Saucer. APA aroma is good. But the flavor is unblalanced and has a cloying pine finish. Didn’t care for this too much at all.

On tap at one of the Eugene brewfests. Very bitter tasting for an American Pale, and with a pine and hop flavor. Very minimal malt flavors which always wins with me. No Old Rasputin, but what is? Solid effort.

12 oz. into shaker. Pours a great hazy amber/copper brown color with a delicious looking rocky light tan/brown head. Great aroma, sticky sappy pine hops with some great grapefruit character too - all with a solid and bold doughy malt backbone. Flavor isn’t quite as good, but is still highly drinkable and very solid. Resinous hops upfront that last a couple seconds into the finish - the malt doesn’t show itself till late in the finish, just as the hops fade. Smooth (though a bit watery) on the palate with very gentle carbonation - light bodied. Overall - beautiful aroma and very solid flavor that could use some enrichment/thickening, but good on the whole.

Sparkling amber with a creamy tan head that lingers. Rich aroma of bitter fruit, sweet touch of honey and butterscotch. Bitter hoppy flavor.

Awesome! Smells very hoppy and sweet. Pours a rich amber with a thick fluffy head that settles quickly. Tastes hoppy (piney) and bitter, but sweet from the malts. The aftertaste is long lasting and the beer gets better as it warms. Not a beer to drink fast, but drink it slow and enjoy it.

Love this one! Red pour some orange. Great sweet malt character. Caramel/raisins. Quite bitter. Very good beer with an awesome mouth feel afterwards that doesn’t let you down.

Citrus hop aroma. Pours hazy copper with thin head. Malty, with mid range hop finish.
