| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Very beautiful red-brown beer with quite quicly to disappearing medium blond head. Aroma is extremely temptating and there are lot of fresh fruits. Flavour is balanced and not so fruitfull than aroma can promise. Flavour is strongly bitter but still there are enough of balancing sweetness and so the bitterness is not too dominating. Surprisingly quite oily palate. Red Seal Ale is sophisticate, fruitfull and strongly bitter beer which fruit-lovers cannot to be fascinated. mar (1903), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Smells great like all APAs. Clear reddish brown. Surprisingly Bitter-like in taste and the hops have both British and American qualities. Sort of a trans-atlantic hop cocktail. Pretty nice. JohnQPublic (387), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Draught. Pours a nice dark copper with a nice, fluffy off-white head. Nose is citrusy sweet, fruity, with a bit of caramel malt underneath. The hops come out early in the taste, citrusy and clean with only a hint of resiny pine, with an underlying layer of sweet malt that complements the hops nicely. Hops never become harsh, and there’s a nice fruitiness to the taste of this one that works well. Finish is a very mild resiny bitterness that lingers, balanced by the fruity sweetness. All in all, a very nice pale ale - not over done, but still assertive and very refreshing. tagz (334), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2008 draft. pours dark amber red. a great combination of caramel malts and citrusy hops. the hops fade a bit as you drink but its a nice balanced taste. just bitter enough to give it a crisp edge, but the malt flavor comes through. well done.
