This beer fared much better then the Scrimshaw-yikes. Dark copper with small head. Caramel malts and some hops. A earthy quality with some citrus notes -eh. Had some great Spring House tasters with this and so this one not faring as well but a good session. Maybe down the road try some fresher stuff. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

Caramel flavor with hops to compliment it. A nice session type beer. Not too much, not too little. Nice hoppy amber. kieleszd (83), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Simple and distinctively pale. Its all you can ask of a beer and nothing more. North Coast has perfected a simple recipe, no wonder their other beer is so great. Its copper red, taste of malt and feels like hops long after its swallowed. Kudos. drfabulous (1275), Columbia, Missouri, USA

"It’s North Coast," I said. "What?" she said. "It’s a solid session beer." "Oh. Then I guess I like it." Beerman6686 (1307), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
