Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

12 ozer. Poured a clear amber color with one finger of off white head. Aroma was of grassy hops. Flavor was sweet malt to balance out the hops. Very good beer.

Well another North Coast that actually rather liked this one. This beer fared much better then the Scrimshaw-yikes. Dark copper with small head. Caramel malts and some hops. A earthy quality with some citrus notes -eh. Had some great Spring House tasters with this and so this one not faring as well but a good session. Maybe down the road try some fresher stuff.

12 oz poured deep copper color with a grassy hop aroma. Caramel flavor with hops to compliment it. A nice session type beer. Not too much, not too little. Nice hoppy amber.

Simple and distinctively pale. Its all you can ask of a beer and nothing more. North Coast has perfected a simple recipe, no wonder their other beer is so great. Its copper red, taste of malt and feels like hops long after its swallowed. Kudos.

North Coast’s session beer. My wife thought it was Red Hook and didn’t want any. "It’s North Coast," I said. "What?" she said. "It’s a solid session beer." "Oh. Then I guess I like it."

Poured a light reddish color with a large off white head. Aroma was of lots of citrus hops and some grass. Flavor was a bit sweet, caramelly, with a nice dry bitter finish.
