Pours a beautiful clear copper colour with a medium sized off white head. Rich flavors, lots of nature like qualities to this beer. A little nutty midpalate, finishes long.

Delicious Aroma. Very hoppy. IPA like scent. Aroma is very deep and rounded. Visuals include a deep copper body under a white foamy head. Taste is hoppy, malty, slightly watery. Palate is somewhat dull, Front top of mouth, interesting in this way. Long delicious finish. Second Impression. Nicely crafted, delicious, enjoyable. Good looking, with nice aroma, delicious taste. Bottle. Pours a light clear orange with a thick white head that leaves good lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral, sweet hops. Aroma is not very strong, but it’s nice and inviting. Flavor doesn’t quite match with the aroma. Mostly sweet malt, with a sour, crisp apple finish (like biting into a freshly picked apple). Tart and spicy as well. Not much of a hop presence. This beer grew on me as I drank it and I liked it more and more by the end.

On tap at PizzaMan in Milwaukee. Golden amber in color, thick pearly head. Aroma was suitably hoppy, very floral. Flavor was dominated by hops, with a bit of a pine note. Aftertaste was spicy. Palate was decent, a bit on the watery side. All in all a solid APA.

In short: A typical but superior Pale Ale (well malted, well hoped, well brewed)
How: Tap at Map-Room (Chicago)
The look: Clear dark golden body with a medium long-lasting off-white head
In long: Malt profile is juicy caramel somewhat reminiscent of a rye-based ale. Some earthy and tree bark notes. Citrus fruits, oranges and other fruity friends join in. This might not be an original beer but this is nonetheless a superior by-the-book Pale Ale offering a tasty fruity bitterness over a solid malt backbone. Named after a specie that doesn’t really exist but would make fine flashy jackets if it did.

12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with a smallish white head. The aroma is floral with a small hint of malts peaking out from under the hops. The Flavor is actually pretty decent, with a good amount of hops and malts. The beer is an extremely good example of the style.

Bottle. Pours are reddish amber with initial 3 finger creamy beige head that settle to an iceberg. Nose is floral hops and malt. Palate is grass, malt and a bitter grapefruit bite in the finish. Medium mouth feel with nice lacing. Solid brew.

Pours a deep amber color with a medium off-white head. Almost floral aroma that’s spicy in nature. Good soft mouthfeel without being spongy. Nice flavor that has a good balance of maltiness and hoppiness. Good dry finish. Nice brew! Pair this beer with chicken that has been marinated in a soy sauce/red vinegar mix, then grilled in the backyard. Also serve grilled sweet corn on the cob and mustard potato salad.
