Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Nice pale ale. Persistent head, copper color (very clear), faint aroma of hops. Hops and a touch of citrus in the taste. Well balanced and smooth.

Been on sort of an ale kick lately and this one was by far the best. I am continually impressed by North Coast beers. Pours a copper red with good foamy head and great aroma of spices and medium malts. Taste is complex yet smooth and refreshing.

Wow, another great! Pours an iconic flowing, creamy head. Deep clear color. Great strong smell. Smooth as anything, crisp finish. Would definitely get this again.

Not bad at all actually. Pours a nice dark amber/red color with a decent sized head. You can smell the hops and yellow citrus on the nose and taste the hops throughout. Bubbly and maybe even a bit dry.

The Red Seal threw me a bit. I thought this would be a Red Ale. No, it’s listed as an APA. Pours amber color with a one inch off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is herbal, resins. Taste is bitter citrus hops with a subdued malt profile. Palate was pretty full for the APA style. A decent Amber that is an easy drinker.

Tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. thin white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus hops. Flavor is mildly hoppy. A very easy drinking beer.
