Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

This poured a beautiful copper/red color with nice head that lasted a while. Smell is a pleasing blend of hoppy and fruity aromas. Taste is a well-balanced blend of initial maltiness that subsides to a nice hop bitterness on the finish. The mouthfeel of this beer is good, as it has a thick, chewy character to it. Drinkabilty is high.

Great beer, really has that classic APA style, one that has all the oomph and power of a good IPA but that distinctively more mellowed and earthy flavor instead of crisp pure bitterness. Some honey in this guy, and for a pale beer this one was rather wet and super refreshing. Very nice.

Sampled in a bottle. Pours with a nice head and a dark hue. Aroma was mild and hoppy. Overall taste was very broad and had mild carbonation. A little bit of bitters but overall a very nice brew.

Bottled. Pours a murky orange with an off white head. Aroma is floral and grass hops with a touch of oragne peel. Flavor is light and crisp. Some light orange peel and grass flavors with a dry finish. Slightly bitter.

Pours clear copper with big head. Mild aroma of hops. Flavor starts with hops and finishes with malt and spices and a little bitterness. Thin to medium body with above average carbonation. A decent session beer.

12oz bottle. Copper with a creamy head. Earth, leather, and some pine in the aroma. Flavor has some sweet, grainy, and toasty malt, and semi-bitter balancing hops in the finish. medium bodied with justa little too much carbonation. Rerate: serving at a warmer temp smoothed out the carbonation and really let the malts shine.

Nice tasty ale, but with a somewhat watery midpalate and finish. It’s a great session ale i guess. Hoppy aromas and taste, sweetish and a little bitter.

Pours a dark cherry red with a thin foamy head. Aroma and flavor both consist of a nice balance of malt and hops. Very drinkable session beer that starts off smooth and finishes off with a dry hoppy bitterness.
