For North Coast, it’s probably the tamest brew I’ve had, but very drinkable. Very good overall. mrw1zard (54), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

Nice color, hops definitely come through - the taste seemed to be consistent throughtout - not a brew that you get bored with. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Amber colored beer that starts out hoppy, but had a malty finish. Not bad, but seemed to fall a little short of expectations. GJF (520), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

Beautiful looking beer, a clear coppery red with a rocky white head and lacing. A slightly floral, grassy aroma. The body is quite creamy with a rich toasted malt flavor and a nice hop finish. I dig it. RomanW70 (297), Providence, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 29, 2008 Pours light reddish gold with minimal head. Aroma of hops, banana, and apple. Initial taste is relatively mild. Strong hop finish with smooth malt balance. Better finish than start. A good but not great ale. thill25 (218), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a thin broken layer of head. Lightly biscuity aroma with a decent floral hop aroma that gets a tad bit musky as it warms. Mild hoppy start over a smooth malt base. Finish is underwhelming. Tastes more like an ESB. charcot25 (181), Cordova, Tennessee, USA
