Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with a small, foamy, light tan head. The head disappears pretty quickly. Aroma: Lots of resinous, pine hops with solid citrus fruits and some caramel malt notes. Pretty damn good nose. Taste: Great malt and hop balance that leans just a bit to the hop side. Pine, citrus, and caramel notes with everything working together. This is one tasty brew! Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium-short, slightly sweet finish. Overall: A great session ale that I will definitely keep around the house. Give this one a go!

Bottle. A clear ale with a reddish brown colour that pours a very small white head. Aroma is a little grassy but mostly hops. Flavor is quite bitter with notes of orange and caramel. A very good ale.

This was quite a nice beer, bought because I was looking for something new and this be the one and only. Poured okay, good head (briefly), nice colour, and taste was not too shabby. Regrets: bottle was too small.

pours a semi-hazy amber-red with a good size off-whte head that disapates quickly, and very good lacing. smell is of light grapefruit, some citrus, a little caramel, some tangerine in back, and some floral. taste is of nuts, caramel, a touch of citrus, dandilion, a touch of pine, and earth, end is on the bitter side. overall more of an IPA than a Pale Ale.

Have had this on tap and from the bottle, but from the bottle first. Unfortunately I don’t have good tasting notes beyond the numbers.
