This one stands out from the crowd. Nice citrus hops with some resin thrown in, amber color, decent malts but not awe inspiring. Nonetheless, a great APA and I’d be a very happy camper if this was available on tap around here. Charlzm (247), Los Angeles, California, USA

Expected grapefruit hop aroma. Tart and hoppy with some bready malt lurking in there. Bold bitterness like orange rinds mix with black pepper for lingering finish. Not well-balanced: bitter is by far the most prevalent flavor. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2007 This was a nice version of an american pale ale. It had that definite hop resin flavor and decent bitterness. The body was pretty round, malty enough, and balanced decently. Nice color, nice performance (good head, good retention, good lacing). conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Sweet citrusy hoppy aroma. Flavor is hoppy and bitter with even more bitter aftertaste. Very herbal and spicy with definite grapefruit notes. Slayer85 (593), Firenze, Italy
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Bottled (5,6% ABV). Clear amber with a medium sized and persistent creamy beige head, leaving many laces on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with fruity and flowery notes (mainly citric fruiits). Theere is also agood hopping in the flavour that is fruity and lightly spicy with some caramel notes. Quite balanced, good malt. Medium body, well carbonated, long finish with high bitterness taht lingers on your tongue. Perhaps a light metallic feeling. Overall a well made pale ale.
