Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Bottle. Clear, clean amber color. Great, thick head. Soapy hop smell. Good inital flavor. Can taste very small hints of fruit. Lasting aftertaste is slightly bitter. As it warms, it becomes much less bitter. Decent carbonation at the front of the mouth and then has a creamier finish. For a hoppy beer, I could really drink this again. I expected much more bitterness on the tongue because of the strong hoppy aroma, but was pleasantly surprised and would really like to try this one again after another 50 or so beers to see what I think of it then.

Pretty solid pale ale. It pours copper with a decadent citrus and spice aroma. The palate shows a perfect beldn of sweet malt and bitter hops. This drives into a nice full finish.

Coppar colored with soapy white head. A perfumy, citrusy, earthy aroma with lots of hops. Refreshingly carbonated to the palate. Malty and bitter to the taste. Lots of lemon. Lingering bitter aftertaste with a metallic hint.

From a 12 oz. Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Pours a clear medium amber colour with a white head. The bubbles are small and fades rather quickly. The aroma is dominated by hops at first. The beer smells of honey, flowers, pine and grapefruit. The tastes is moderately bitter with notes of hay, pine and grapefruit starting with only a hint of sweetness. The hoppy flavours linger for some time. The body is light to medium, dry with a chalky finish.

Sweeter aroma, like brown sugar sweetened bread dough even some lemon. Hazy and dark as iced tea, perhaps a little lighter but certainly not like pale yellow. Foam head about half inch tall. Nice lacing. Taste is bitter impact on center of palate. Stronger impressionating brew. Malty bitter and some fruit hints. Has as much of a bite as many IPA but is somewhat different in the end. Finish evolves from bitterness on the back and sides to the middle of the palate. Hangs for a while.

Another decent pale ale...a bit stronger in taste out of the bottle than when I had it as a draught. Nothing new to report on the aroma or taste than your run of the mill pale ale. All this mindane-ness aside, its a good brew.

This beer is so much better than NC’s Acme Pale Ale it isn’t funny. It pours a clear copper with a large, frothy, off-white head that laces quite nicely. On the nose are notes of pine and citrus with sweet caramel singing backup. Medium-bodied and slick it concludes with a dry/bitter finish. Piny, resinous hops with a light caramel malt backing, the flavor rounds out with a tight, bitter finish that dries the tongue and lingers for a bit. This is an APA worth trying.

Orange amber pour with a really nice big offwhite fluffy, creamy head. Mildly sweet, nicely soapy, piney, hopped big smell. Taste is a nice mild hop taste, and a sweet caramel backing and a very smooth creamy, yet nicely carbonated great beer. Mild bitter finish on a great all around pale ale and one I will definitely have again.
