Commercial Description:
Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish.

Pours a copper red color with little head. Aroma reminds me of a pale ale even though it looks like a red ale. Taste is crisp & refreshing with a slight hoppiness balanced by the malt. Not bad.

Deep copper pour that despite its transluscency appear cloudy. Hoppy bitter aroma heavy of Grapefruit and citrus. Nicely balanced smooth feel in the mouth. The aftertaste is bitter and hoppy reminicent of an IPA. This is a pretty satisifying beverage.

12 oz bottle. Pours a thick off white lasting head, with attractive lacing, over a clear coppery body (SRM 15).....nose mild toffee, mild grapefruit, pine, bread......taste initially slight toffee malts, then mild grapefruit lingering.....mouth feel medium, carbonation medium. A thoroughly refreshing and pleasant "American " Pale Ale.

Nice floral\citrusy aroma with some spicy hop character. Appearance was rusty with a frothy head. Flavor hit with citrus immediately, followed by spicy hop character. Maybe a bit of honey as well. Palate is bubbly, yet smooth and creamy. Well done Pale Ale with a few little surprises.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear light-amber color with a solid cap of creamy beige foam. Aroma is standard red ale: crystal malt sweetness, tangy orangey hops. Flavor is a little more adventurous, with a solid caramel/maple syrup malt base and a nice dose of grapefruit and orange hops. Finish is dry and piney with a decent bitterness. Pretty much a good, drinkable red.
