Little bread in the aroma but not much going on. However, very light bitter flavor with a hint of sour. But overall nice and sweet caramel with a balance of hops. Very lively on the tongue with a long finish. robertjm (412), El Cerrito, California, USA

Velvety white head. Crystal clear dark orange body. Hops are very muted by the hand pumping. Really like the bottled version a heck of a lot better because it uses one of my favorite hops. msante79 (835), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

Sinon, elle est bien balancée. randyjo (5), Kansas, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 12, 2009 Slightly hazy medium gold with nice off-white head. Expected grapefruit hop aroma. Tart and hoppy with some bready malt lurking in there. Bold bitterness like orange rinds mix with black pepper for lingering finish. Not well-balanced: bitter is by far the most prevalent flavor danielcurtis81 (906), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2009 Beer poors a copper/amber with a nice white head. Aroma is nice with a nice combination of hops and malt coming through. Beer has an overall nice bitterness for the style. Flavor is dominated by a subtle sweetness and a nice hop bitterness. Palate is a bit sticky but overall nice. This beer is good but I found myself looking for more flavor than it appeared to have. Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
