Smells subdued sweet malty, slightly fruity. Tastes sweet and syrupy malty with some fruit. Smells a little grainy with some hay as well. Medium, slightly syrupy body, ok carbonation. joebudzjoe (232), Connecticut, USA

I am not a big pilsener fan, but this brew is extremely clean and refreshing. Very dry palate with a subtle but distinctive hop flavor. Not bad. kramer (2510), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 12 oz bottle, via cloudskipper. Pours a clear gold body with a one finger fizzy white head that faded slowly to a wispy film. Very bready and crackery malt nose with a slight grassy hoppiness. The flavor is moderately bitter hoppiness with a slight sweet crackery maltiness. Fairly short finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation. Not a whole lot of character to this one, but it’s quite drinkable. DrSamPHD (61), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Poured from the bottle, a clear gold with a nice medium sized white head. A malty aroma with a hint of yeast. Light flavor, with a bit of spice and a hit of some citrus coming through. Crisp finish. A very refreshing beer, but came up short on the taste. tarheels86 (799), Washington DC, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2008 330 mL bottle. Pours a clear gold with an okay white head. Nose is oats, corn, and water. Appearance, nose, and taste is like a macro. Very thin and watery on the palate. This is a pilsner? A major disappointment from the creators of Old Rasputin. 1010 (212), Marysville, Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Pours a golden color with a nice white head. Taste good for a pilsner dispite my adversion to that type of beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Not my favorite style, but an excellent example of what a quality product North Coast is capable of. The golden pour reveals aromas of grass, straw, and touch of floral/citrus. Flavor is not phenominal, but because the beer is so crisp and smooth it drinks very pleasant and clean. This would be a great summer beer.
