12 ozer. Poured a clear gold with two fingers of sparse white head. Aroma is somewhat citrusy with a little malt. Flavor is sweet malt. This beer was not too heavy, not too light. Good beer.

12 oz bottle from Binny’s. Pours a very light auburn. See through and no haze whatsoever. The head is about a fingerwidth, white, carbonated looking and dissipates slowly. Leaves a solid lacing on the top. Can see a continuous flow of carbonation rising as well. The aroma is a very nice sweet malt. Some kind of spice too. Sweet citrus in there as well. The flavor is malty, slightly sweet, and spicy. There is a lot of carbonation...it really rolls off the tongue. Very crisp, light, smooth. A lingering malt. Drinks like a beer and finishes like a champagne. Overall, its surprisingly a good pils. I like the lacing and the pleasant aroma. Pretty refreshing.

Bottle. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus rind, mineral hops and honey. Honey amber hue with an average sized off-white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is malty sweet with some honey and caramel. Palate is medium bodied and oily flat. I really liked this one. Nice pineapple tones and bw type character. An intense pilsener.

Bottle. Poured deep yellow with a big white head. Aroma is a mix of sweet toast, lemon, vanilla. Flavor is also of light vanilla, with a doughy presence, and some light earthy hops. There is some bitterness in the finish. Mouth is relatively light. Nice pils.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a very small white froth. Aroma is sweet and malty and very heavy on the wheat and grain. Flavor starts out very sweet and finishes very sweet. There is a small amount of bitterness in between and some hops linger in the aftertaste. Medium body. This beer is all about the malt and it ends up being too sweet. It wasn’t bad but it was middle of the pack at best.

Bottle. Haze free light golden body topped with whit 1-finger head. Aromas of straw, some light hop spice, lightly toasted malts. In flavor, some light maltiness and crisp hop finish. Smooth and crisp, this was an excellent pils. Not my typical beer-of-choice, but good enough to make me seek out other pilsners of good repute.

Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Mild aroma. Obviously pils is not an amazing type of beer, but at least this one actually has some flavor to it. A little bit of hops and mild bitterness. Decent, but nothing special.

Pours a stained glass yellow-amber with a thin, pallid froth. Stale cornflakes and powdered milk scents. Tastes tart and fruity with wheat, paper dust (ever fan a just-opened ream of copy paper?), and barest “raw” barley flavor. Medium bodied… bristling carbonation lends a sharp, glassy texture. Faint chalky and mixed berry aftertaste. Closer to a kolsch, unrecognizeable as a pilsner. Hardly better than a BMC.
