2008 Bottle - Pours clear yellow with a large white head, smells like a barnyard, straw, grass, dirty cow teet...flavour is light, grassy and mildly fruity, nice bitterness balanced with consistent grain and prominent carbonation...meh...

12 oz bottle pours straw golden with a one finger white head. Aroma is sweet bready malt. Flavor is malt and little else. Rather bland and boring. Easy to drink.

Draft @ Frisco’s. Pours a medium golden-orange color; fizzy, off-white head with solid retention and textured lacing. Kind of a bland aroma: stale malts, cardboard, and some sugar; a touch of herbal hoppiness. Medium mouthfeel: pleasant mineral hoppiness upfront; lively carbonation, very drinkable; some breadiness and sugar underneath; still, reasonably dry, crisp, sessionable pilsener. Medium finish: dry, mineral bitterness, toasty breadiness, and a bit of sugar left over.

Clear golden yellow color, with a fizzy tall white head. Aromas of honey, hay, and lemons. Light, crisp, refreshing flavor. Slight bitterness near the finish. Sweet honey persistence. Light, watery, and refreshing. Great for summer.

Weak barley malt aroma. Hazy amber color, thin head. Tastes of lemon, wheat, and rice. Weak lemon grass finish. Tart.

Not one of my favorite North Coast’s. Light bready aroma, with a very thin and cardboardy flavor.

At first pour I thought this smelled like pure skunk. Never the less when poured into a glass the beer takes on a very bready, grainy aroma, which is very plesant. This beer is very beautiful, it is the classic straw color of pils, but there are tons of bubbles with a huge luxurious head that sticks around. The taste is different but very tasty. A good malt character and a dry light bitterness. Smooth but, finishes with the classic pils sharpness.

Light honey color with a medium sized rocky white head. Decent lacing. Nose is grassy, wheat like and a bit of noble hops. Taste is clean and remindes me much more of a wheat beer with all the sweetness. Very mild and quaffable.
