Golden color, thin white head but still some nice lacing. Aroma is lemons, flowers, very clean. Lots of citrus flavors, lemon especialy, a bit sweet, with some grass and a touch of bitter hops in the finish. Nice and refreshing. Original rating: This is a really good beer. To say I’m pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The color is a brightish golden topped with a very nice frothy white head. There ends up being a lot of lacing on the glass. The aroma is slightly malty with grassy and grainy notes with some fruitiness to it. It is crisp, a little sweet with a blend of malts and hops. A hint of a lemon zing is mixed in. Nothing seems out of place. Clean, smooth and very refreshing. This would be a great choice for a session beer. illidurit (890), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Poured into a pilsener glass. Honey colored with a rocky white head that leaves some of the thickest lacing I’ve seen from a pils. Lots of streaming bubble columns aid the retention.
Aroma has that classic pungent fresh grain character with zesty citrus from the hops. Quite lemony.
Flavor is citrusy but not tart as I would have expected. In fact it’s a rather sweet citrus note without proper grainy malt to balance. Pilseners aren’t typically robust but even this one tastes a little watery.
Mouthfeel is pretty average. Plenty of carbonation and a semi-crisp finish. dmac (1472), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 5, 2008 12 oz bottle purhcased Oak Tree. Pours a very hazy golden orange with a small white head that quickly faded. Aroma was sweeter then I was expecting with notes of grain, honey, grapes and a very slight metallicness. Medium bodied that is light on the carbonation and doesn’t have the crispness that I’m used to in my pilseners. Flavor is similiar to the aroma with lots of grape and grain coming through. Nice beer not really what I was expecting. keepersj12 (801), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Pours light straw color with medium white head and ample carbonation. It has a weak character with an almost flat taste. This was a disappointing brew for me, and I certainly won’t be rushing back for more. Peregrinari (54), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Color is somewhat cloudy and golden with a weak head. Aroma is nutty and smooth with hints of wood and citrus. Quite nice. flavor on the other hand is somewhat sour and a bit metallic. The flavor is quite disappointing considering the nice aroma. The finish is drying somewhat like smoking pure burley for those pipe smokers out there. Overall I was really disappointed in the flavor after such a nice aroma. Ah well, you can’t win them all. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
