Smell is fresh, clean, slightly malty and a bit more hoppy. Taste is smooth, clean, with a mild hop flavor. There isn’t a big bitter bite, like in a lot of pilsners, but it is simple and refreshing. A touch of hops and sweetness in the finish. A great easy drinking session beer. I really like this one, even though its not exactly what I’d expect in a pilsner. Hops up front and not too aggressive in the finish, which exactly what I feel like at this moment. Bit too dry. Overall a nice chillout while your working at home beer. Yeah. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Plain, gold and orange with a good white head on it. Fruity aromas with mild hop characteristics. Little hop bite, lots of grains detected in the flavor. Overall, North Coast usually delivers a better product than this, but I understand the need to feed the masses...
