Bready, buttery and honeyed- this is an OK pilsner. It has a lightly spiced quality. It’s not a great beer-but does every beer have to be a great beer? Yeah...I think not!

A nice bold looking beer that’s not quite as tasty as one would hope. Nice clean flavor with crisp hops leading the way, it’s got a bit of a buttery character that makes for easy drinking but perhaps not the most memorable qualities. Good for a burnin’ hot day like today.

Hmm, this pilsner is hit and miss. Appealing pour, with a darkish golden color, crystalline, with a firm and tall white head. Very handsome in a tall glass. Aroma is mildly hopped with a floral and thyme spiciness. There’s a bit of a honeyed toasted malt in the background. Flavor seems startingly weak however, with just a very light malt presence that is quickly diminished by a big unbalanced bitter finish. The malts seem vaguely sour or tannic. I’d want to say the palate is crisp, but it just doesn’t quite get there.

Lightly Cloudy Dark Gold/yellow with White Head. Sweet Musty Malt and Nice Spice and Hops on the Nose. Light to Medium Mouthfeel. Hopped Bitter Flavor with a Musty Straw Malt Taste...Light Dry Aftertaste. Almost Creamy Feel to It. A Llittle Thick for Heavy Consumption but Still Enjoyable.

From the tap at Redlight it poured an amberish color with a thin white head. The aroma had wheat, yeast, some malt, and some spicy hops as well. The flavor was of the spicy hops with some piney flavor mixed with yeast and wheaty malts. It had a light body feel that was quite drinkable and refreshing. The finish was clean, crisp, and dry. The body was a little thin, but still good tasting.

12 pz bottle into a pilsener glass. Deep golden body with thin white head. Aroma is of earthy/spicy hops and slight DMS. Taste is clean with a supple caramel note. Refreshing hop character. Probably the best pilsener I can buy in my area.

Pours an golden amber body with a foamy, 1 finger sized white head. Aromas of sweet yeast, malt, dough, some spicy hops as well. Flavor of funky yeast, sweet malts, bread dough, piney hops. Finish is clean and a bit tart, medium length. Light bodied but not watery, refreshing. Shares a lot of flavor profile with PranQster.

Oh, North Coast, you make it so easy sometimes. Appearance: Pours out a pale yellow color with a crest of creamy, white foam on top. Smell: Sweet, light biscuity maltiness accentuated by a floral hop aroma. Taste: Starts with a mild (almost ale-like) toasty sweetness that develops into a soft citrus hop and residual grain flavor. Finish is dry and metallic. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Clean and crisp - the two C’s that please. Drinkability: Exciting stuff. For a pilsner.
