Very aromatic, aroma mostly of grain. Flavour is immediately sweet, and very grainy. There are not enough hops and this beer is very unbalanced towards the hops. There is also a tinge of sourness that leaves a bad aftertaste. Ironically, the only real bitterness I taste in this beer is a sort of bitter aftertaste, but bad bitter, not "dry" as is claimed. The texture is flat and the beer seems too heavy. Oddly though, as I drink more, it doesn’t get any worse and actually gets a little more tolerable. Bottom line, this pilsener is weak, not nearly bitter enough, not crisp and clean enough, too heavy, too sweet, a little too sour. But it could be a lot worse.

Bottle. Pour is golden, with some cloudiness to it. Smallish white head disappears quick. Aroma is dry grass, earthiness and some hops. Taste is more of the dry grass, and some really nice mineral / earthiness comes through. Really nice crisp and clean hop finish to this one. Nice Pilsener overall.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of hay, yeast, and maybe a hint of some floral hops. Flavor has lots of earthiness with the hay and floral hops. Has a nice crisp, dry finish. Not really that much flavor, but I think that’s generally typical of the style. A decent pilsener even though I don’t usually enjoy this style.

Aroma of slight sweetness, small hoppy crispness. Appearance is clear golden. Flavor is not real overwhelming. I got some sweet plasticy flavor. Backend is crisp I guess. The beer is very light, pretty carbonated, easy to drink. It is an average beer.

Tap @ Bitter Creek, Boise. Somewhat pale golden color. Disappointing, stale tasting, somewhat sweet, and rather creamy for a pils. Wanted something more tart & hoppy.

Not much to say about this beer, it’s plain, but very refreshing. Fresh and crisp taste with a dry finish. A good beer to have on a nice hot summer day!

A nice golden amber pilsner with a good white head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus and caramel. Flavors of malt, caramel, grain, clean finish with hops.
