Feb 25, 2007 had at the Richmond Arms during the Carling Cup 2007....pours a golden-tan colour...ok lacing...smooth but lacks something...like a british style ipa not an boh pils...does have a nice aroma though...swing and a miss!

Feb 23, 2007 Bottled. Poured a medium golden with a well-retained short cap of white head. Aroma was soft with bready notes, floral hops, and a bit of lemon zest... quite nice. Flavor was a fine extension of the aroma with a soft bready base driving the whole way through... mild floral and lemon bitterness around the tongue. Lighter-bodied, but great feel and flow across the palate... refreshing with a crisp lemonbread finish. Would make a damn fine lawnmower beer.

Feb 23, 2007 Pours a golden yellow (not pale). Nice fruity sweet aroma of apricot and malt. Very nice pilsener, not very flavorful, but that can be allowed given its enormous drinkability. Great deal at $6.49/sixer at the local Long’s Drugstore. WIsh they had a brew date, but seems very fresh. Recommended. WIll drink again, again.

Feb 20, 2007 Pours golden yellow with a teeny head. Smell is very pleasant with apple and honey, but is a bit faint. The flavor is also a bit weak, but is pleasant none the less. This is a good beer to go with dinner.

Feb 15, 2007 Scrimshaw is a honey colored beer with a tart hoppy aroma. There is a hint of orange to be noticed. Flavor is also very tart and is also bitter. The middle of the tongue is stimulated in a pleasant manner. Some apricot and honey are underlying tastes. There is some personality here and a nice "grab." There is also a surprisingly nice mouthfeel.

Feb 15, 2007 This isn’t one of those robust, blow-your-mind type beers. And I don’t think it tries to be. It is a delicious, easy drinking beer that I really like most in summer. To me, it tastes a lot like green tea, but others have disagreed.
