Pours golden yellow with a teeny head. Smell is very pleasant with apple and honey, but is a bit faint. The flavor is also a bit weak, but is pleasant none the less. This is a good beer to go with dinner.

Scrimshaw is a honey colored beer with a tart hoppy aroma. There is a hint of orange to be noticed. Flavor is also very tart and is also bitter. The middle of the tongue is stimulated in a pleasant manner. Some apricot and honey are underlying tastes. There is some personality here and a nice "grab." There is also a surprisingly nice mouthfeel.

This isn’t one of those robust, blow-your-mind type beers. And I don’t think it tries to be. It is a delicious, easy drinking beer that I really like most in summer. To me, it tastes a lot like green tea, but others have disagreed.

It says "pilsner style" on the label- I poured it and it was really light looking, it was light tasting as well. Not a bad beer, but could be a little maltier and hoppier for my taste. Really nice head and lacing.

Bottle. Lightly grassy, lightly funky aroma - reminds of ... well, reminds of a lightly-used diaper. Some decent sweet maltiness. Light golden pour with a large and rocky, lacing white head. Very watery with just a hint of malt and sweetness. Very lightest hint of caramel. Not revolting (as the diaper comment might indicate), but certainly nothing special. There’s just nothing here.

12 ounce bottle that pours a lightly hazy straw color. medium off white head. Carbonation is medium to high. Aroma is cereal grains, lightly grassy. Taste is the same, with some hay thrown in. clean finish. watery body. not bad at all.
