Pours a slightly cloudy but mostly clear golden color wit ha thin white head; far hoppier nose than I expected, touches of yeast and grain. Flavor is malty with a certain not unpleasant graininess and a lightly hopped, dry finish. Unremarkable palate. Overall, though, well balanced and lacking in most of the skunkification I’ve come to expect from the pils style. Enjoyable. waolsen (1224), Littleton, Colorado, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Bottle:Clear gold with a small white head. Typical pilsener aroma - slight skunk smell, grains and honey. Their isn’t much in the taste, but what is there is sweet and malty. The body is thickerthan I expected and shows a solid structure. I thought it was actually pretty good for a pils. I could certainly drink the whole thing, but will pass it on to my wife. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Once I had put my finger on what the unusual flavor was, I couldnt stomach it any more. I can honestly say that this is one of the worst beers that I have ever tried. zamco17 (134), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

Pours a little cloudier than most pilsners with a quick dissapearing head. Aroma reminds me of marzen style. Subtle creaminess. Nice easy finish. One of my favs now that ive gone threw a few. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 12, 2006 (Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is golden with amber notes, foamy white head. Nose is malty with notes of tropical fruit and grassy hops. Taste is malty with fresh, crisp notes of grassy hops, some toffee and tropical fruit. Rather dry, with grassy hops in the finish, not really bitter. Crisp and clear, but a bit too modest to make an impression. walleye (881), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2006 Pours a lightly hazy golden amber orange with an average bubbly/creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt, grassy, some light citrus, Flavors of the same...a very clean tasting Pilsner but is lacking in the hop character that I look for in a good Pilsner.
