There is little evidence of hops in the aroma but thats the only beer like smell. Color is a dirty blonde with small head. The drink is mild flavor of old stale hop and grain malt but very similar in its delivery to a european strong ale or european pilsner style. Still comes up empty though stison42 (318), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear yellow gold por, big white head that settles into a dense veil. Nose is mostly malty, a touch funky. Mildly engaging flavor, well balanced and light. Nothing spectacular, but solid, like their wheat. 505 (271), Echo Park, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2006 Usually don’t like pilsners, and it had a rather boring appearance and aroma, so wasn’t expecting much, but turned out to taste great. Medium body, hits malty at first, then has a nice lemony finish. Enjoyable summer beer or with a meal. OldMrCrow (1191), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a nice sparkling light yellow pils with a fluffy white head. The aroma is rather weak on this one, but the flavor comes through with a nice, slight maltier-than-average complexity and a pils-hops finish that makes this slightly lemony beer pleasing enough to drink.
I’ve got to admit that I wasn’t really in a pilsener mood when I tried this one, so it probably deserves a re-rate. SwedeDog (364), Windsor, Connecticut, USA

Doesn’t smell like anything. Not good, not bad, not anything. Light in the mouth. In fact, the mouth is just a tick above the nose. I guess there’s a crisp hoppiness to it. The thing that got me, though, is that the lingering mouthfeel is peppery ... but I don’t mean peppery in a spicy way ... I mean peppery in a black pepper way. ?!?!? Probably not one I’d seek out again. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
