Pours pretty much like you would think it should, pale yellow with a white foamy head. Leading the aroma was a funky sourness followed by sweet corn and mild hops. The taste, thankfully, did not have any of the sour notes in the aroma but was a bit bland with very mild hopping. If it were not for the aroma I might have rated this higher. michael-pollack (2729), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Slightly cloudy. Small white head. Very small lacing. Flavor of banana, corriander, and honey. Light body. Thin texture. Fizzy carbination. Bitter, slightly dry finish. A bit musty. Overall a mediocre pils, but drinkable. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

The head left something to be desired. Not a ton of hops either which was kind of disappointing. I’ve gotta say, this is one of the cooler names for a beer though: "Scrimshaw." I actually have a friend at school who carves bones. bethmatt0421 (319), Covington, Kentucky, USA

Fairly similar in fact, with nothing special or offensive to be found. I wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered, but I wouldn’t run out to buy one either. Poured very bubbly clear gold with a good foamy white head. There was a frisson of hops in the air when I popped it, but when I sniffed the glass there was only a faint residue, as well as some slightly vegetal grainy malt (almost corny). Taste is a bit buttery, average mouthfeel, a bit fizzy, mild grains, dry hops, slightly sweet malt, with straw - finishes fairly dry, whisper-sweet. This is okay, but thee’s a weird touch of bleach about it.
