| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Copper blonde pour into a thin off white head that quickly dissipates into a pool of bubbles and a ring of melting lacing as carbonated bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of yeasty sweet malt with a bit of light grainy hoppiness. Initial flavor of malty straw fading to a slightly bitter hoppy finish. Bigmmartin (370), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 6, 2009 On tap at Chappy’s in Dayton. Not a bad pilsener. Actually quite refreshing, a nice summer lager. It does have a crisp and dry finish, which I enjoy. hellbilly (1532), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

actually pours fairly dark for a pils... golden yellow with a lasting white head and lots of splotchy drippy lace.
unusual aroma of honeydew melon mixed with grass, pale malt, earthy yeast and lemon skins.
the flavor is a pretty bland rendition of the aroma though it is quite dry and grassy on the finish. the aftertaste is very yeasty and when warm full of straw and cooked grain.
it is medium bodied but it lacks a crispness. also, the mouth feel has a strange starchiness to it akin to artificial sweetener which makes it somehow... not refreshing? 7/4/5/2/12/3.0 VTHopHead (915), Barre, Vermont, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 25, 2009 Bottle - Pours a hazy darkish golden yellow in color with a small white head that fades quickly to a thin rim around the top of the beer. Aroma is grassy (hops?) and slightly malty sweet. Flavor is initially malty and fairly sweet with little of the hopiness that I expect from a pils. Nutty and light;y sweet on the finish. Easy drinking, but then again, there is not much here to write home about. You could drink a ton of it, but what’s the point? joeneugs (330), Livermore, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2009 slightly hazy yellow color with a small but OK off white cap of foam. Boring aroma of sweetish malt and little hops. It has a very clean, nondescript flavor. Little sweet, little hop bitterness in the end. I don’t really get excited about pilseners in general, and this one was pretty much what I expected. cblado (148), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 13, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color, light white head. No lacing. Aroma starts out a bit juicy, hint of apple, but it’s mostly a grassy malt. Flavor is similar, mostly grassy malt. End very crisply, though. All in all an okay beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 12, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours an opaque golden color with a light white head that dissipates rather quickly. Malty flavor, slightly grassy/earthy, goes down easy, a little too easy, kind of flat. Light-bodied. Not very impressive.
