| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Refreshing and drinkable if nothing else. Fizzy and yellow with quickly dissipating white head. Pale malts and grassy Noble hops on the aroma and flavor. Hell of a lot better than Buttweiser and such (gag me) but not too exciting overall. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2009 12oz bottle. It pours a light straw color with a long lasting head. The aroma is of noble hops, lemon zest and wheatgrass. The tastes starts with the ever slight sweetness of the malts and moves into a fine bitter hop bite. Light bodied and smooth, well balanced beer.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 27, 2009 i’m always on the lookout for fine pilsners. several of my padres do not appreciate the stouts and high hops. my buddy mark is one of those. so it tickled me to high heavens to waltz on in to the clay pit indian restaurant in downtown austin, texas, and find some scrimshaw. this is a bright and bouyant beer, full of fine light colors that accentuate light flavored meals perfectly. (probably not the best choice for indian food. needed something bigger, like northcoast red seal or stone ruination IPA to get through that chicken saag.) everything about this beer is fine. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 26, 2009 On tap at Union Jack’s. Pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light extract note. Taste is sweet again, hay and straw, and the same extract note gives it a apple cider like finish. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Malty, bready, some poopy nose. For a pilsener it’s definitely above average, so I curved it a little bit, but not enough for someone to confuse me thinking it’s absolutely awesome. bradlyc77 (226), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2009 On tap at North Coast. Pours clear golden with white head that has nice lacing on the way down. Some citrus aroma from the hops. Taste is of straw/hay with some citrus. Nice light to medium hops bitterness. Crisp and clean in taste and appearance but mouthfeel is slightly soapy. All in all, an enjoyable pils.
