blipp (561), Grand Island, New York, USA May 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Malty aroma with grain, hay and light caramel. Medium body. Clean malt flavor with hay and some trace hops. Pretty good.
Sammy (2945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 3, 2008 Enjoyed on tap at Mahonney’s in Baltimore. Hallertauer and Tettnang hops. Creamy, easy drinking above-average for the style. BeerGestapo (229), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2008 (USA) Courtesy of The_Capt, Thanks. Pours a hazy yellow color with a med-white head. Aroma is of rotten garbage and the taste is D.O.A This stuff really sucks.......It is not crisp or clean. :( ruggedman (410), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 1, 2008 Oh so this is what a Pilsener is really supposed to taste like!?! This is still a style i’ve neglected seriously for a long time. Picked this up the other day at the store, because really you cant go wrong with North Coast. This stuff is very crisp and delicious. Nice light crisp hop presense but very light almost biscuity/orangy malt hints also. afireinside96 (308), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 30, 2008 Updated: Jul 1, 2008Bottle shared by The_captain. Thanks Mark (I guess). Pours light straw with a big foamy head. Smells like death. Death! Terrible tasting beer, if you can even call it that. Awful awful stuff. dchmela (601), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 On tap at Redlight. Pours a nice straw gold with a thick white head. Light hops, slightly malty with hints of lemon in the aroma. Crisp clean taste, malty with a hint of fruitiness. I am not a pilsener fan by any stretch, but on a hot humid day in Florida, this was very refreshing.
