afireinside96 (498), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 30, 2008 Updated: Jul 1, 2008 Bottle shared by The_captain. Thanks Mark (I guess). Pours light straw with a big foamy head. Smells like death. Death! Terrible tasting beer, if you can even call it that. Awful awful stuff.
BeerBunker (105), Burbank, Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pours a murky yellow with a white head. Looks like any typical macro. Aroma is malts and Cheerios. Very watery taste, without any semblance of flavor. Mild hop taste, with nothing amazing to speak of. It’s like any cheap pilsner, but less offensive and easy to drink. Trooper11 (450), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Oct 5, 2008 mostly clear, yellow brew. aroma is earthy malt, corn syrup. flavor is bland, watery corn syrup, finishes bitter. Not very exciting. SamGamgee (593), Santa Cruz, California, USA Oct 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Gold with a fluffy white head. grass, citrus, spice, and bread in the aroma. Relatively fat malty body, with a spicy hop balance. Much more flavor than I expected, but could have been a little leaner. Almost tastes like a blond ale, rather than a lager. boFNjackson (540), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle... Poured golden with a thick white head. Aroma was a little musty with some sweet malt grains. Tasted of refreshing hops with citrus/lemon and a little malt to balance. One of the better pilsner lagers I have had. wxman (459), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 An exceptional pils. On draft, taps a bright golden with a really decent small bead white head that is full at first, but eventually only rings the glass and covers the surface. Aroma is sweet malt and some hop flower. Taste is really clean and crisp, but not too nbitter. Sweet pale malts dominate. an excellent summer thirstquencher very true to the style.
