12 oz. -> shaker. Pours a hazy, lt. orange marmalade-color, with an off-white head, which dissipated quickly. Smells of soap, beer "skunk," dryness, and (strong?) toffee. Tastes yeasty, with subtle hops balancing the malts, and retaining the soapy, pils skunkiness. Dry finish. I’ve had better pilsners, but hey... Fort Bragg. Hooah!

Dec 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep golden with a creamy off-white head. Slightly sweet grassy aroma is indicative of a similar flavor. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation.

Dec 17, 2009 Sample as part of a North Coast beer dinner at Teller’s. Pours a clear straw gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of straw, hops, pale malts, corn, grain, and beechwood. Malty flavor, with notes of hops, corn, and honey. Light-medium bodied, malty, and grainy. Crisp and clean, with some active carbonation to balance the maltiness. I liked this for the style, and would take it over a Euro pilsener any day.

Nov 1, 2009 Yellow honey gold with plenty of rising bubbles and a thin beige head. aromas of faint hops, sweet malts, and citrus. Crisp and bubbly with a slightly peppery flavor. Balanced well with spicy foods.
