Yellow honey gold with plenty of rising bubbles and a thin beige head. aromas of faint hops, sweet malts, and citrus. Crisp and bubbly with a slightly peppery flavor. Balanced well with spicy foods.

Bottle from the Flying Saucer Fort Worth. Light yellow pour. Aroma of okra, musty grains, and hops. Taste is bland and metallic. Mouth feel is almost painful.

Light orange yellow pour. Rotten grain aroma, like that of the grain that sits outside of a brewery for a day longer than expected in direct sunlight. Ugh tastes slightly better than the aroma but not by much. Dry feeling is bad oats flavor. I almost said Bad Dates which would have led me on an Indiana Jones crusade. Hahaha short-round. He was always in trouble. Gahl-lee-maw!! Haha, this beer isn’t bad but isn’t great.

Bottled. Nice coloration, and is clear, has a little bit of a twang to it. It’s alright.

In the bottle at the 2009 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Festival. Pours bright yellow with a fast-dying white head. Very lemon-like in taste. Not great. Definitely not in the German style of pilsner.
