dark amber. Small whiet head. Caramel, nuts and cardamon in aroma. Sweet caramel flavour with spicy and roasty notes. Not very bitter. Quite boring. I expected more from North Coast.

Clear orange. Aroma of roasted caramel and nuts, with some vinegar or alcohol. Has a strange vegetable and milk flavor, not really comparable to other winter beers sampled. Smooth finish of scotch and Irish cream.

Hazy light brown with nice lacey head. Yeasty wheatish aroma. Flavor is yeasty spice. Not enough there to put it over the edge.

Orange-red. Spicy aroma with tones of citrus, roasted malt and chocolate. Spicy flavor with hints of black pepper. Too thin especially from North Coast.

Murky brown hue with minimal head and some lace. Very floral and toasted malt aroma with additional hints of nutmeg and clove, earthy yeast esters, and orange. The taste was muddy, some malt and hops, but the spices seem to overpower the taste. Just simply too weak to meet my expections. The body was also weak and thin, watery. Not among my favorites of the weekend.

Bottled. Hazy brownish amber. Flowery hops and spices (nutmeg & cinnamon?) up front. Clean, hard mouthfeel, medium to light body and average bitterness.

smells like Alagash white...must be the coriander and slight citrus hops. Murky orangish-gold color. I taste the coriander. Taste is somewhat of a surprise...roasted malt flavor, slightly smokey. A small amount of bitterness comes through during mid sip, but mostly a malt-heavy imbibe.
