Bottle ( 500ml ). Shared by swoopjones with me, biegaman, blankboy and garthicus. Hazy deep amber with an average off-white head. The aroma is quite lemon-sour up front, with a fruity, slightly boozy backing of vague spicy yeast. The taste is quite weak, sour lemon, dry yeast, overripe fruit sweetness. Average body, quite well carbonated, but dry and a bit sour; old? I didn’t mind it, but I’m pretty sure it’s breaking down - fresh it might have been solid.

Bottle [500ml] shared with garthicus, HogTownHarry, biegaman & swoopjones -- c/o swoopjones . Lot:G262. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a small off-white head. Aroma’s quite citrusy and tart along with caramel malt and spices. Flavour’s tart and spicy with caramel malt and fruit. Average bodied. Not bad, it’s fine -- but is it supposed to be sour?

Bottle bought in Broadway, England. Shared with Garticus, HTH, Blankboy & Jan @ Coles. Big gingerbread aroma notes of Christmas spice, deeper copper pour, strange tart acidity, lemon sourness, woody, notes of allspice. not very good

Thanks to Swoopjones. Appearance: flecks, ruby red, huge frothy off white head. Aroma: big gingerbread house! Some sour tartness, pepper. Flavour: initial sour alcohol flavour with a lemon and pudding-ness. Acidic, brandy, wood, unripe plums. Long dry caramel bitter finish. Interesting.

Bottle Conditioned, 500ml, picked up from Harbury Beer Festival 2.5 yrs ago. Oxtail soup with no head. This had remained undisturbed for 2.5yrs and still not cleared. The beer itself was fruity, slightly tart, malty a bit muddled, but not really bad. Wouldn’t buy it again though.
