Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 06. Brown beer with loose head. A bit of a mix to this one, initially caramel dominates with a brown ale sweetness and a touch of candyfloss. This develops into a nutty bitterness. Not bad, but a little uninspiring.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Banbury BF. A loose attempt at a Northern English brown ale. The colour is a decent mid brown, and there is a nutty nose together with some sweet malts and some chocolate. The taste also has some nuttiness, but is a little dull and unconvincing with no real depth.
